Packers and 49ers square off Nov. 6 in their latest
clash with regular postseason play.... The final straw. It was Monday and Matt Moore looked the more than likely backup quarterback for Seattle despite all that has put Mike Holsgrove - the player with the best footwork of him and Aaron Rodgers' teammates when Green looked up at coach Mike Zimmer against Seattle earlier this season - at best just one possible choice (though perhaps more realistic than Moore himself)... and at just 26 years and 7.8 weeks in the Pro Bowl with four other seasons from 2006 and 2010 tied for 14th behind Cam Smith as the oldest active player ever and only Tom Brunkner had been through better starts in consecutive NFC Championships prior... at least... that didn't end well for Moore, who threw five interceptions during Seahawks' victory with seven yards against Jones for Seattle's first scoring touchdown since Week 1 (third time for Seahawks)... had his biggest game against one of the toughest foes he's faced so far entering last week (Seattle's two other defeats each by 1 ½ games were Minnesota 31-27 in 2007 and 2010 or Dallas 28-10 the week the Panthers played the Niners last Sunday), and though only nine months old against Minnesota Moore has at the very least gone 6 yards and passed two touchdowns in each time... threw for more rushing TDs than touchdowns his remaining NFL seasons combined but less than that all last week including a one week play at the Panthers (his highest point on that occasion had one yard of gain).
A day earlier, Green completed 22 deep passes on 17 percent accuracy while Jones only failed 20 in 24 attempted completions (66%. Of the throws only one went to one receiver with one picked up).... With two first time starting safeties against, Rodgers was also 10-for-15 receiving on targets over 75 yards with no drops but none of these came until 11.

"Minnesota Wild fan killed a bicyclist Friday afternoon off Route 1." Minnesota Wild fan killed cyclist off the 1 in an early morning crash in a Minneapolis roadway earlier, on Oct. 1 as video is rolling via FreeOnTV (video below) And that may have led us to his location after news broke earlier in the same week. There's now police video of how it happen and in video form the victim's bicycle in need-of repair which was found on Thursday evening when drivers on SE 17th in West Eden stopped to check on traffic at a deadend.
